Kesha Chiappinelli – Kesha Chiappinelli attended New York Law School. She interned for a legal analyst at Fox News observing production Manhattan production studio and wrote articles featured in a Fox News legal blog. She also completed a Judicial Externship in the New York State Supreme Court in the Commercial Division which handles complex disputes and interned for the New York Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board working closely with the Board and the Administrative Law Judges who heard and decided appeals.
After graduating in 2009, she accepted a direct commission into the United States Air Force JAG Corps. As an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate she served as prosecuting attorney supporting the legal requirements of a 7,000-person organization at Beale Air Force Base California. After her commitment she raised her son and moved back to Arkansas to be close to family.
She began practicing in the areas of general civil, landlord tenant, personal injury, obstetric violence, and administrative law. Her primary focus is helping women and families. She drafted legislation to support community birth, with bi-partisan support, during the 2017 Arkansas Legislative session and worked closely with the bill’s sponsors and the Office of Legislative Research. She recently was a guest speaker at the 2019 Birth Rights Bar Association Conference at Loyola University Law School where she spoke about the legal implications of birth outside of the hospital setting.
